Valentines makeup tips!

Whether you're prepping for a romantic dinner, a concert night, cocktails with friends, or a cozy movie date, every special occasion calls for a touch of makeup to boost your confidence and sometimes it a great excuse to try something bolder.

And what better opportunity to flaunt a stunning red lip. Personally, I normally only wear my red lipstick for those magical moments around Christmas and Valentine's Day. My absolute go-to? The iconic Mac Cosmetics Red lipstick 'Lady Bug'. Its such an easy wearing red. Its soft and goes with lots of skin tones and hair colourings. It isn’t completely matt so it isn’t in your face. With so many shades of red out there, from cooler tones to warmer hues, once you find your match, it a winner! With Taylor Swift rocking a red lip, it is a makeup trend right now and a makeup look brides love too. Don’t forget the red lip liner – it's your secret weapon for that flawless finish and to keep your lipstick in check all day/night long. Take both the liner and lipstick in your purse for quick touch-ups!

Not feeling the red lip vibe? No worries! How about diving into the sultry world of the smoky eye, perfect for a romantic evening out. Here is a mini eye makeup lesson. Prep those lids with a trusty eye primer to lock in your look or a tad of foundation swept over the eye lid. Start with a light shade of eye shadow all over, sweep a mid-tone across the eye lid, then deepen those outer corners and crease with a darker hue – blend, blend, blend! Brushes are your besties here, seriously. A good blending brush is like magic, smoothing out any harsh lines and giving you that irresistible smoky allure. And don't forget your eyeliner and mascara. Remember, there are no rules when it comes to eye makeup – it's all about what makes you feel fabulous.

Wishing you all an absolutely fantastic Valentine's Day! Embrace the makeup you're wearing – it's your secret weapon to feeling radiant, joyful, and confident, whether you're going all out or keeping it simple. Happy Valentine's Day 💋
