FAQs
Q: If I have a trial, will I get the same artist on the wedding day?
A: Yes, absolutely.
Q: When should I book a trial?
A: Some brides book a year ahead, others just a month before. We recommend booking as soon as you know your date. If it’s early, we take photos and notes to recreate your look perfectly on the day. You just relax and enjoy being pampered!
Q: What should I bring to my trial?
A: Bring any hair accessories and your veil. If you have inspiration images, great! If not, we’ll guide you. We bring all professional products and tools with us.
Q: Do I get a full list of products used at the trial?
A: We provide lip colour and powder details for touch-ups. Full product lists are given during makeup lessons, not trials.
Q: I’ve never worn makeup before. Can you help me choose a look?
A: Definitely! We’ll keep your look natural and flattering. Our artists are trained to advise what suits you best and will listen carefully to your preferences.
Q: Can I book makeup only?
A: Yes, you can book makeup or hair separately.
Q: How much is the travel fee and where do you travel?
A: We travel across the UK and worldwide. If travel exceeds 30 minutes, there’s a minimum £10 travel charge.
Q: Which brands do you use?
A: We don’t sell products ourselves and only recommend what’s best for you. We use top brands like MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Stila, YSL, Laura Mercier, and more.
Q: How long does a trial take?
A: Makeup trials take just over an hour; hair and makeup trials usually just over two hours.
Q: How long does the wedding day look take?
A: Bridal makeup and hair usually take about an hour each. For extra people, plan 30 minutes each for hair and makeup. We’ll review timing fully at your trial.
Q: How long is a makeup lesson?
A: Basic lessons are one hour; you can upgrade to longer sessions to learn different looks.
Q: Do you offer bridal makeup lessons?
A: Yes! Perfect if you want to do your own makeup abroad or just learn the skills.
Q: What’s the difference between a makeover and a lesson?
A: A makeover is when we create the look for you. A lesson lets you practice techniques, ask questions, and get a full product list to keep.
Q: Where do makeovers and lessons take place?
A: We’re mobile and usually come to you.
Q: We have a big group and limited time. How do you manage?
A: We adapt to tight schedules for parties, lessons, photoshoots, and weddings, and can send a full team for larger groups.
